That I have a six (almost seven) month old.
It really crept up on me, even though it may not seem like it.
I couldn't imagine myself as the mother of a six month old not too long ago. But alas, here I am.
I AM SO IN LOVE.
Daddy is really loving this age. We talked the other night about the bond with your child and the different types of bonds moms and dads have. It's hard for daddys to bond with a newborn, even though they share the same immense love for thier child. But at the interaction age, Miss Pea can reach for her daddy and lean into his scruffy kisses. She can lay on his chest and play with his nose. It's a whole new level of love and understanding, and I'm really liking this part. :)

Mama has her very important role, too. Comforting during unsure or scared moments.
The funniest things scare her now that didn't before. She is just learning so much so quickly, it's amazing to me. I really can't help but enjoy this boo-boo lip for a few seconds. Cute.
This is where the mama comes in. Love watching her grow, watching her be unsure, scared, brave, curious, and giving her everything we have to offer. Working to get to the weekend, Happy Tuesday. |
