during our brief hiatus

Pea had her 9 month well baby check

I got a new niece, Pea got a new cousin

I forgot what 8 pounds feels like

We played

With things that aren’t real “toys”

And with cousins

And uncles

And swam in a big pool for the first time

Did not nap well

Spent time outside

But not enough

Pea and Daddy colored

We went on jammie walks, too

Life is good.
